The Hive and the Honeybee
Selections from the E. F. Phillips Beekeeping Collection at Mann Libary
Support from beekeepers across the U. S. is helping the Albert R. Mann Library at Cornell University to digitize historic beekeeping books. The Phillips Beekeeping Collection at Mann is one of the largest and most complete apiculture libraries in the world. The Hive and thee Honeybee is a free, full text digital archive of selected books from the Philips collection chosen by a team of scholars for their historical importance and usefulness to beekeepers today. This archive will grow as funding allows, and it is hopeful that eventually it will contain every major pre-1925 beekeeping work in the English language. The collection is available at http://bees.library.cornell.edu For Questions or information about supporting this collection please contact Mann Library at mann_ref@cornell.edu or call (607) 255-5406
